Saint Francis Church

Saint Francis Church

The church, most of which was built between 1569 and 1607 as part of the Franciscan convent, is a single-nave temple with side chapels and ribbed vaults. The gallery and entrance doors were constructed at the end of the 17th century in Baroque style. The dome of the transept and the façade are from the 19th century, built in Neoclassical style. The convent, erected throughout the 17th and 18th centuries, was closed in 1835 and demolished shortly after.
